A sunset view from Hidden Lake overlook in Glacier National Park. The smoke from the recent fires in Montana, Idaho and Washington subdued a normally stunning view. Sometimes you need to make lemonade out of lemons.

I'm a life long resident of Long Island in New York who has only recently become involved in serious photography. I didn't own a camera until well after my first son was born, and my only knowledge of that Minolta was which end to look through and which button to push. However, after retiring six years ago I discovered a passion for photography that I couldn't imagine lived within me. With the guidance of some exceptional instructors at the International Center of Photography in New York City and outstanding workshop leaders, I've been given the knowledge and confidence to explore this passion and see where it will lead me. I appreciate you taking the time to look at my images, and it's my sincere hope that they bring some enjoyment....
